The updates were delivered directly to fans during an on-stage presentation hosted by a team of My Hero Academia voice actors, signaling the start of the anime’s upcoming 10th anniversary celebrations, with more information expected to roll out throughout 2026.

Anime 10th Anniversary Officially Begins in April 2026

The My Hero Academia Anime 10th Anniversary will officially kick off on April 3, 2026. This milestone marks ten years since the anime adaptation first aired and went on to become a global sensation. Anniversary activities will continue across multiple projects, with additional announcements planned as the celebration unfolds.

 

“More” Special Episode Continues the Story After Graduation

One of the most anticipated reveals is “More,” a special anime episode adapting Chapter 431 of the original My Hero Academia manga. The episode explores the lives of Izuku Midoriya and his classmates eight years after graduating from U.A. High School, offering fans a look at what happens beyond the original ending.

“More” will premiere worldwide on Crunchyroll on May 2, 2026. The episode has been frequently requested by fans and expands the story with a new perspective on the characters’ futures.

 

My Hero Academia in Concert Launches World Tour

The anniversary lineup also includes My Hero Academia in Concert, a live music world tour centered on the anime’s score. The performance features music by composer Yuki Hayashi, presented live alongside pivotal scenes from the series in an immersive concert format.

The tour will begin on May 30, 2026, at PACIFICO Yokohama in Japan, before expanding to international venues. Additional tour dates, ticket information, and global locations will be announced in the future.
