The season finale of JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1, has now aired, bringing this latest chapter of the hit anime to a close. But while Part 1 has ended, the story itself is far from over. The deadly Culling Game will continue in Season 4, The Culling Game Part 2, keeping the stakes high as the conflict pushes into its next phase.
The Culling Game Part 1 expanded the scale of JUJUTSU KAISEN in a major way, throwing fan-favorite characters into a brutal battle royale shaped by shifting alliances, deadly colony rules, and nonstop confrontations. Among the biggest developments was the arrival of Yuta Okkotsu, the special grade jujutsu sorcerer, who entered the fray as an executioner and turned his blade toward Yuji Itadori.
That setup led directly into one of the most intense and unforgettable clashes in the original manga. Known as “The Cursed Two,” Yuta and Yuji are bound by a shared mentor, yet pushed into violent opposition under impossible circumstances. Their confrontation became one of the defining moments of the Culling Game arc, and Part 1 delivered the opening phase of that larger storyline.
Now, with the finale having aired, the next step for the series has been confirmed. The story will move forward in Season 4, The Culling Game Part 2.
