A new key visual and trailer for The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 have been revealed ahead of the anime’s October 2, 2026 premiere, offering a fresh look at Maomao’s next investigation and the mysteries waiting beyond the imperial palace.

The new trailer teases a story that expands into the bustling city as signs of national disaster begin to emerge. At the center of the unfolding events is the arrival of an enigmatic immortal maiden, while Jinshi takes on new responsibilities as an imperial prince and Maomao faces a series of unfamiliar challenges.

Season 3 will begin the first half of its split two-cour run on October 2, with the second cour scheduled for April 2027. Akinori Fudesaka, who directed Season 2, returns to lead the new installment.

The trailer also previews the opening theme, “Beyond the Clouds, Only Me Downwind” by Yorushika, setting the tone for the dramatic developments ahead.
