A new trailer for The Apothecary Diaries: The Movie has arrived ahead of its scheduled December 11, 2026 release, offering a first look at the theatrical adventure featuring Maomao and Jinshi. With an original story concept by HYUGANATSU, the film is also coming soon to theaters worldwide.

The announcement comes as Season 3 of The Apothecary Diaries is currently airing. Following its October 2 premiere, the latest chapter takes the action beyond the imperial palace and into the bustling city, where signs of national disaster begin to emerge.

An enigmatic immortal arrives amid the growing unrest, while Jinshi takes on new responsibilities as an imperial prince and Maomao encounters unfamiliar challenges. Returning director Akinori Fudesaka leads the split two-cour installment, with the second half scheduled for April 2027.

For anyone looking to catch up or revisit earlier investigations, Seasons 1 and 2 of The Apothecary Diaries are also streaming on major platforms.
