Anime Expo 2026 has wrapped, and TOHO animation was there with a special booth full of activities, displays, photo opportunities, giveaways, and exclusive merchandise. The booth brought several major anime titles together in one show floor destination, with My Hero Academia, JUJUTSU KAISEN, The Apothecary Diaries, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and Though I Am an Inept Villainess in the spotlight.
Here’s a tour of some of the TOHO animation booth highlights at Anime Expo 2026, held July 2–5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center!
My Hero Academia marked its 10th anniversary at the TOHO animation booth with hands-on activities and special displays. Visitors could test their strength with a special California Smash-themed punching machine, step into a photo booth to take pictures with their favorite characters from Class 1-A, and check out the My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary Art Wall, which featured anime production art from the beloved series.

JUJUTSU KAISEN celebrated its 5th anniversary with dramatic photo opportunities and stunning visuals. The booth included dramatic photo opportunities with Judgeman and Rika, along with a wall featuring actual anime art used in JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Culling Game Part 1. The display gave visitors a special look at artwork tied to one of the series’ current story arcs.

The Apothecary Diaries brought a character-focused experience to the booth, letting visitors take pictures with Maomao and Shisui. The display also included an array of traditional fox masks, tying the photo opportunity to the Fox Mask Festival featured in Season 2 and giving fans a memorable way to capture a moment connected to the series.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End was represented with a photo opportunity featuring characters and the magic-nullifying crystals from Season 2. The setup gave visitors a way to step into the fantasy atmosphere of the series and directly connect with story elements from its upcoming continuation.

Though I Am an Inept Villainess had a themed booth activation featuring character photo opportunities and highly detailed costumes modeled after lead characters Reirin and Keigetsu, giving the upcoming series a special preview presence at Anime Expo.

The TOHO animation booth also featured a TOHO animation Store US retail area with merchandise from My Hero Academia, JUJUTSU KAISEN, The Apothecary Diaries, and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, including convention-exclusive items and limited-edition collectibles.
Other activities included a general photo booth, gachapon machines, complimentary TOHO animation series badge clip-ons, and a blind-bag mini clip-on shopper containing a reusable eco-bag. The eco-bag designs featured chibi artwork from My Hero Academia, JUJUTSU KAISEN, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, and The Apothecary Diaries.
